You know the worst fucking part about sexual harassment and sexual assault? After you deal with it and get past it and you feel like it’s done — you find out they did it to someone else. Someone younger and more vulnerable that you were.

And you have to live with the guilt of thinking maybe you could have done something to stop that from happening. Maybe you could have saved them.

We just made it exceedingly clear that victims are not to be believed. That if you bounced a check in 1994 apparently you can’t ever be trusted. That if you don’t remember the date and you didn’t immediately go to the police, everyone will question your credibility.

And so many people are watching all this and taking note. And they will wonder if there’s even any point in reporting.

And then they will get the news. He did it to someone else.

This thread should include a lot more swear words directed at everyone who trashed Christine Blasely Ford and Tara Reade, but what’s the point? All of you should be ashamed of yourselves and yet none of you are.
