the title, 'Nowhere is safe for us' is a phrase taken from a Syrian mother, quoting her young daughter. They had been driven from their homes, then the camps they fled to were targeted. What the girl actually said was 'Why doesn't God kill us. Nowhere is safe for us.'
Amnesty understandably took out the God bit, so as not to reduce the impact of the girl's words.

May God have mercy on your soul, as priests & judges have traditionally said, then blessed the guns or passed sentence of death.
