The real lightbulb moment for me as a kid was watching an episode of Star Trek: TNG. Riker and Troi were both climbing a ladder, into a ship crawlspace or something.
Riker goes up the ladder, and the camera stays on a bust shot of him the whole time. Makes sense, whatev.
