1. The greatest threat facing the world and democracy is Christian jihadism.
It happened during the Dark Ages and we are seeing a resurgence of it. Popular will is immediately conflated to be Divine instruction. Vox populi, vox Dei, was the motto in 2017 Zim.

2. When we blur the lines between Church and State what results is persecution of other faiths...immediately doctrine becomes secular law and a bastardized form of false theocracy ensues.

3. It is perfectly ok for Christians to be politically aware, but it must not be construed that their political positions are Divine and those who oppose them are by extension opposing God.

4. For the safety of any Republic, religion must have its place as the moral conscience of a nation but it must not become an all consuming legislative point to the extent that it excludes all others who have not chosen that specific religion.
