On the surface level, I'm not anything like Soren (sadly), not buff or a master of puns, but I can relate to things on a personal level. Such as thing like doing your best only to feel like it's not good enough in the end

To be in a mindset where you feel like you HAVE to have someone's approval, only to feel yourself to be pushed aside because their focus is elsewhere has been a common feeling in my life that I'm afraid to admit

Currently I'm moving past the veil of trying to do things just to get other people's approval, slowly, and starting to do things that I believe in and not feel obligated or forced into doing and I have to thank characters like Soren for that

And in being able to relate to Soren on that level it helped me in coming out to more people, since I see that side of myself in Soren. I'm not sure if this'll be the same or addressed at all in the show but it's a nice thought for me right now

Honestly all around for #TheDragonPrince and its characters got me through a lot (mainly Soren no shock) and just grateful for them all, and glad that my favorites can forever bring a smile to my face, even when the plot decides to go dark.
