I feel like we're stuck in between two worlds: a world of people with ideas about lockdown and testing and tracing that were perfect for Feb/March but were never allowed to take effect, and a world of people who completely deny that anything is happening and are cool with death

Neither of these worlds is serving us well and I'm sorry to say only the first group is ever going to move so the first group needs to move or the second will succeed in their goals

I don't know what the answer is but you're gonna have to suck it up and work with the capitalistic individualist world of the United States if you want to have real impact. Because we are working against a force that is willing to take huge blood sacrifice if that isn't respected
