WAELCOME TO A THREAD ABOUT MY OC'S, I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE FOR THE DUMP BUT I WANNA TALK ABOUT MY BABES

THIS IS VARAH: in this world, her species/race/what have you are on average between 6 - 8 ft tall, she's about 7 ft so she is BIG LADY and I LOVE HER. She's a magic user who specializes in healing magic but can do a variety of other magic things as well.

She was exiled from her people and has lived and explored around a lot before beginning THE JOURNEY with Aedan. She seeks out knowledge wherever she can get it, from writings or from storytellers or teachers, and approaches things rationally. She smells like sage and cedar.

THIS IS AEDAN: he's a human, about 5' 11", who became unfortunately cursed () several years ago. His curse is that unless he is actively on the road travelling, a numbness starts to overtake him starting in his legs, and then it gets BAD and if he let it go he'd die.

He nearly died soon after getting cursed before working out that when he travelled he got better and was well. So after that, he became a courier so that he'd be on the road often delivering things and stave off the bad effects of the curse. But this has worn on him, he is tired.

He met Varah in a city and developed a friendship with her before she proposed an adventure chasing down some old relics to summon a Celestial (god-like creature in this world, not humanoid because that's lame) and get some answers/a cure to Aedan's curse.

It took some convincing but eventually they started on THE JOURNEY together and have had lots of adventure and mishap and good moments of caring and learning and loving - and that's where the main story starts, nearing the end of their adventure where SHIT HAPPENS OOHH

This was very brief and vague and there is literally years of world and story building I've done for these babes, but surface level, this is what's up. Also they love each other so deeply and perfectly but not romantic or sexual, because I'm Over That and platonic love is valid.
