Bakufem!deku Mother’s Day special where Katsuki is a single dad and has been dating Izuku for a few months now, but he’s nervous about introducing her to his son because, well, he takes after Katsuki in a lot of ways.
Izuku just smiles and says she’s bound to love Katsuo. That’s not what he’s worried about. Hes not worried about whether Izuku will like his son, He’s wrorried his son will either drive Izuku away, or just hate her.
He realized, after their first meeting, that he should have been worried about something completely different...

He should have been worried about Katsuo liking Izuku too much.

Well, his son had good taste
After he took Katsuo to meet Deku at the park, as soon as she walked over to them, his little chubby cheeks turned red and he looked down at his feet in nervous anger. Deku squatted down and spoke to him in a gentle, soothing voice, and he knew Katsuo would love her.
Katsuo stuck by Deku’s side the entire time. He wanted to show her every little thing that he found interesting, while Deku patiently indulged him. He was constantly showing off, showing her how fast he was, or how well he could throw, or how he was the bravest kid
He was constantly badgering her for attention, pulling on her skirt if she looked away too long. Katsuki would have lost his patience a long time ago, but she just smiled and gave Katsuo her full attention.

Unsurprisingly, Katsuo didn’t want her to leave at the end of the day
He clung tightly to her leg as Katsuki tried to pry him off, crying about how he didn’t want her to go. Eventually, Deku managed to calm him down, and they went home after Deku promised that’d she’d come over soon.

After that, Katsuo wouldn’t stop talking about Deku.
Morning, noon and night, he talked about Deku, wondering if she’d like the snack he was eating, or if she’d like the show he was watching, or want the picture he drew for her. He was always asking when they’d meet up again, asking if they could call Deku so they could talk.
Katsuki found it annoying, but she thought it was sweet. Easy for her to say, she didn’t have to live with him.

“I’m gonna marry Izuku!” Katsuo declares one day while Katsuki was on the phone with her. He choked on his coffee while she just laughed on the other end
When they met up in person again, with a bright red face and furrowed brows, Katsuo handed Deku a flower and informed her that he was going to marry her.

“I’m sorry, Katsuo-kun,” she said kindly as she knelt down. “But I’m going to marry your dad.”
“What?!” both Bakugou’s shouted, although for completely different reasons.

“But why not me?!” Katsuo asked, crushing the flower in his fist as he stomped his foot.

“Well, I can’t be your mommy if I marry you,” she said, giving the boy pause.
“Y-you want to be m-my mommy?” the little boy asked.

“I would be honored to,” she answered, brushing his hair out of his face. He sniffled and threw himself at her, burying his face into her neck as he cried happy tears. She just gently rocked him while smiling up at Katsuki
After that, Katsuo started referring to Deku as Mommy. It always made Katsuki’s face hot and his heart flip in his chest. He’d ask to call her almost every day after school to tell her what he’d done in class, he’d draw family pictures with her in them, helpfully labeled “mommy”
One day, Katsuki was running late at work, and he asked if Deku could pick up Katsuo for him, which she said she would. By the time he got back it was dark outside, and he entered his apartment to find Deku sniffling on the couch. Alarmed, he asked what was wrong, surprised when-
-she smiled.

“He introduced me as Mommy to his teacher,” she sniffles as she got up to meet him, burying her face in his chest. “A-and the teacher said, she said, it’s nice to finally meet you! K-Kacchan, he talks about me in class!”
“I’m not surprised,” he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. “He’s obsessed with you.” That just made her cry harder.

Before any of them even realized, Deku slowly began walking Katsuo home from school, staying the night even when Katsuki got back on time.
He went out shopping for all of them, picking up things she said she needed. Her laundry slowly mixed in.

“My lease is up soon,” she said one morning while they all ate breakfast.

“Good,” he nodded.

“Yeah, it was a waste of money,” she said. “I mean, I never go back there-
-anyways.”

“Do you need help moving your stuff out?” he asked, raising a brow at her. She smiled.

“Only a few things.”

Katsuo cried when he found out she was going to live with them permanently, and he insisted on having a party. And, it felt right.
Katsuki loves Katsuo, with all his heart, and he’d never give him up for anything, but something had always felt missing. A partner.. and Deku was that missing piece.

He nearly cried when Katsuo gave her a Mother’s Day card, Deku wasn’t so composed.
He was the ring bearer at their wedding, Katsuki wasn’t as composed then, especially when Deku pulled him to the alter to make her own set of vows to him. He held his family tight after the officiant pronounced them man and wife, tears sliding down his face as he smiled so wide-
-it hurt. Everything felt perfect.

.

“Dad, Dad!” he heard Katsuo whisper as he shook him awake. “Wake up!”

“Hmm?”

“It’s Mother’s Day! We gotta make mom breakfast!”

“Right, right,” he nodded as he stretched and rolled out of bed, following their son into the kitchen.
Mother’s Day was always special for Katsuo, and every year he wanted it to be perfect. They cooked a lovely meal for her, and woke her up as soon as it was done, presented nicely on a serving tray. Katsuo would give her a card, she’d read it, cry, and they’d all sit in bed -
