While I sympathize with those whose hotels and vehicles were demolished and confiscated by Gov Wike, I like to say that most Nigerians have been for years very lawless people. The lack of leadership over the years have fertilized our lawless behaviors and we assume it’s normal

When laws are made, citizens are supposed to obey the laws for the good of all. The COVID19 is no joke. It’s ravaging and killing people. It is the duty of Govt to protect her citizens from the pandemic. Cutting corners or disobeying laws meant to keep us safe, is bad!

What Wike is doing in Rivers, is what we expected Buhari to do when he was first elected in 2015; clean up the system, instill discipline and enforce all laws without fear or favor. Wike is helping Rivers people obey the laws. You may not like his style but Nigerians are lawless!
