I'm tired. Tired of lies, corruption, sickness and death. Tired of fools figuratively turning lights on with the Luftwaffe over London because "freedom." Tired of white gunmen storming capitol buildings for "freedom" but lynching a black jogger for not surrendering his freedom.

Tired of the raging pandemic and the escalating assault on democracy. Tired of all-or-nothing thinking being used to justify sitting out the fight to save flawed democracy from something much worse. Tired of the both sides-isms. Tired of crumbling norms and institutions.

Tired of normalization. Tired of tolerating racial and economic disparities in the toll the virus is taking. Tired of money in politics giving some the power to drown out the voices of others. Tired of weak ethics rules and weaker anticorruption systems. Tired of abuses of power.

Tired of greed. Tired of better bailouts for corporations than for regular people. Tired of the Wisconsin judge who said some workers weren't the "regular" people. Tired of what she really meant. Tired of the Trump era. Tired of insomnia and COVID dreams. Tired of being tired.

We won't give up. But, man, I am tired.

Just thought I'd share that because I know other people are tired too. We're going to push through it. But, once in a while, it helps to let each other know we feel the same about this garbage experience.
