#StarWarsSunday If I did Lobot, how could I pass covering the single coolest character in all of Star Wars?! From the VOTC, Lando Calrissian!! https://www.jedibusiness.com/figureDetails.aspx?id=99">https://www.jedibusiness.com/figureDet...
Lando was released as part of the Vintage Orginal Trilogy Collection in 2004. This line was the forerunner for the modern Vintage Collection. He is on a Kenner style card, with an outer clamshell to protect the card.
Lando sports 14 POA, with a ball jointed head, shoulders and knees. The rest of the joints are swivel joints. His cape is cloth and not removable, and he comes with a Stormtrooper blaster.
For a 2004 figure, the head sculpt is very good, and holds up well, if not perfect, with today& #39;s facial scan technology. Lando isn& #39;t as buff as his POTF2 figure, and more in line with the Power of the Jedi line Lando figure.
But Lando suffers from a couple problems. First, he& #39;s too short. Lando should be near Han Solo in height, but compared to the Skiff Disguise version & the General Lando figures, his lack of height is easily seen.
The swivel elbows are a big disappointment, even then. Lando has to be in a perennial state of crossed arms. Not really cool. Well, not as a singular pose anyway.
On the secondary market this Lando is a great buy, $13-$33 on card which isn& #39;t a bad deal. While this isn& #39;t a definitive 3.75 Bespin Lando, it is the best version made. Hopefully one day Hasbro makes a brand new one. End thread.
