As a SCAD alumni I just wanna say, SCAD was a great learning experience for me and I wouldn't trade my time there for the world. My professors were wonderful and so was my education... but Administration has always sucked. Never once has a change happened for the benefit of the
students. I feel like my professors did all they could to help me know how to break into the industry but never once did I feel like going to Bradley hall was EVER helpful. Never once did they try to help me when I had a stroke and had to drop and fail classes that quarter.
Counseling tried to guilt my friend not taking a break when his step dad died. they intentionally over crowd the school every fall expecting half the kids to drop out in the first quarter. my friend had her roommate move and then they were gonna kick her out and not relocate her.
Administration did nothing when countless students reported racism, sexism, ableism, and harassment from the creative writing professor who creeped on girls in the bathroom as a protest against the trans bathroom thing until he fucked up on facebook and they couldn't ignore it.
A professor died last year and students had to crowd fund his fucking funeral to help his grieving widow.
I love the people of SCAD but those in charge seriously suck.

all this being said... seeing people dunk of scad as a WHOLE (students, professors, ect) has really got be feeling a nasty sort of way.
