I actually never read/watched the entirety of inuyasha I read like 2/3rds and then the very end because i got sick of the same repeated filler nothingness.

I did the same with bleach and naruto. Inuyasha at least ended in a way that was decent.

Naruto was especially frustrating because I actually used to ship him with hinata and then gave up years ago when they clearly made him mostly care about sasuke and then they swerved at the end to what I originally wanted but out of nowhere so no statisfaction or anything lmao

Like I have had ships sunk but having your ship made canon to avoid the gay ship you played up so hard it ruined my ship for me is a special sort of hell.

Would certainly suck if another ship became canon but in a way I don't like and that was ruined for me huh?

Out of all the series i followed as a teen I think inuyasha was the biggest one where I kept reading the fanfics longer then the actual manga because I loved the world but the series sort of downplayed the demony parts over just being... ranma 3/4ths or something.

Rin will never be a demon slayer who spent the last 10 years training under sango to be a badass and I will be sad and half the fanfics I loved don't even exist anymore because I read them in fcuking 2005.
