My neighbor told me this story once about a couple that used to live in my house years ago. They were a mess to put it succinctly, and they did a lot of heroin. One night, they got in a fight and the guy hit his girlfriend. There is a lot of harrowing detail to the story, but
basically, she fled, and when he couldn& #39;t get her to come back, he grabbed a shotgun and ran outside, howling with emotional pain. My neighbor ran outside as the guy fell to his knees, about to pull the trigger and kill himself. He ran straight to him and wrapped him up in a bear
hug and the guy just cried in his arms. My neighbor held him and shared Jesus with him until the police came. He didn& #39;t really see him after that. The girlfriend moved out shortly thereafter. It was a pretty traumatic night for my neighbor.

Well, my neighbor just told me
through tears that he& #39;d just run to the gas station down the road, and he ran into that kid. The guy is clean, has kids, and now owns his own gravel business. My neighbor said unfortunately social distancing was not observed (https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ€—" title="Hugging face" aria-label="Emoji: Hugging face">). They were both pretty emotional to get to
see/share that happy ending.

Pretty cool to think about how acts of kindness for others can snowball into brand new lives. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="♄" title="Heart suit" aria-label="Emoji: Heart suit">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="♄" title="Heart suit" aria-label="Emoji: Heart suit">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😭" title="Loudly crying face" aria-label="Emoji: Loudly crying face">https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ„°" title="Smiling face with 3 hearts" aria-label="Emoji: Smiling face with 3 hearts">
