Imagine you& #39;re running a small company, currently furloughed.

And with 12 hours notice, on Sunday night, you have to order, receive, and install procedures and equipment for social distancing at work - and don& #39;t even know if your staff will arrive, cos there& #39;s no transport.

And imagine you work for that company.

You& #39;re now told to go into a workplace you know isn& #39;t likely to be safe for the above reason; and travel on buses you know aren& #39;t likely to be safe; and most likely bring home infection to your family - or you don& #39;t get paid

And imagine you& #39;re the kids, or spouse of that worker, knowing that tomorrow your mum or dad is going out, unprotected, into crowds where 1 person can infect 4.

4 infect 16.
16 infect 64
64 infect 320...

And in 10 steps, a million are infected.

And 1 in 50 die.

I& #39;m well aware loads of you don& #39;t have to imagine these things.

Boris Johnson certainly hasn& #39;t imagined them.

It fills me with genuine dread that they can& #39;t imagine the outcomes of these actions; can& #39;t foresee these things; lack the empathy or brains the job demands

I know that eventually we have to come out of lockdown.

But to spring this on us on a Sunday night, with 12 hours notice, and no chance of getting PPE or reconfiguring offices and factories...

It& #39;s absolutely insane. Dangerously, stupidly, suicidally insane.
