Today I am studying what NOT to do as a brand FT. @manscaped

This thread will help give you some pointers as what not to do with your brand and or dropshipping stores

As someone who is always actively seeing what “big brands” do...
I noticed @manscaped & what their marketing team was doing.

For a few weeks I was impressed by their ads, ad copy, website, emails etc and began watching them closely

I also noticed how much they were probably spending on paid ads
This brand looked legit and I’m sure they are pulling in big boy numbers.

2 weeks ago I decided to purchase something to see how the backend of their funnel looked like

Here Are 6 Big Things I Noticed They Are Doing Wrong:
1. Cannot find any estimated shipping times anywhere on the @manscaped website

2. Cannot find how many days it will take for order to ship

3. Immediately after ordering I got a confirmation email. Which was expected, nothing bad here. Here’s the email
4. 12 days later I received an “Order Update” email which didn’t actually give me an order update.

It just told me they were actively working on fulfilling my order

Again, no where on the website can you find any information regarding shipping times.

Here’s that email:
5. The email did say to log in to your account and you’d be able to check the status of your order.

So I logged in to my account to see if the “Order Status” page would give me some helpful info (as they said it would on the email)

It didn’t.
Here’s all the information that was on the “Order Status” page

No where can you see the status of your order.

6. Their FAQ page also has no information regarding shipping nor shipping times

At this point, I came to the conclusion that their customer experience is not good
I’ve seen some dropshipping stores have a better customer experience than this

Big disappointment from a brand like @manscaped

Here’s a text from a friend who also ordered from them and had a similar experience...

He did say “product is good” so props to that @manscaped
Now I’m curious to know their chargeback rate...

I’m sure they have a very loyal audience, which helps minimize this. Especially if the product is actually as good as advertised.
But nonetheless, the experience they give to their customers is not up to par and it’s evident they are leaving lots of money on the table

If you have a small brand or own a dropshipping store, you can fix all of the things big brands like @manscaped are doing wrong
No excuse to not keep your customers in the loop (even if your shipping times are slow/slower)

Bc no matter how good your product is... customers will remember the experience they had with your brand the most.

Can’t imagine how many customers WON’T buy again because of this.
