A thread on Tottenham Hotspur’s Ideal Transfer Window for Summer 2020

Recently, Reports came out that Tottenham would have roughly 25m entering the window, so that is what I am going to start with here.
Out: Erik Lamela
While Lamela was one of Pochettino’ favorites, he never grew to be anything more than an impact sub really and after injuries has been a fairly poor signing. My guess is that he will go to Serie A for a fee of ~15m. I’ve chosen AC Milan as his destination.

Out: Eric Dier
The time to sell Dier may be arriving as his form has significantly dipped in the past few years. It has been very frustrating that he doesn’t count as a homegrown player as well for UEFA. I think we can get ~18m from Newcastle as the next step for their rebuild

Out: Danny Rose
Rose’s exit has been coming after some questionable comments in the media about the club. Already on loan at Newcastle it is believed he will make his life there permanent and I’ve guessed about 10m for his services will do it.

Out: Jan Vertonghen
Jan’s form has declined recently and he is out of contract in July with a new contract looking unlikely. There have been rumors of him joining a team in Serie A including joining Eriksen at Inter Milan. Obviously, Spurs would not receive any money for him

Out: Kyle Walker-Peters
Similar to Rose, Walker-Peters seems on his way out and will likely make his current loan permanent. He doesn’t seem to be a part of Mourinho’s plans in the future. I’d say about 10m from Southampton would be a fair fee for the fullback.

Out: Dele
Here’s where things get interesting. If Dele was in form all the time, he would be the first name on the team sheet for spurs. However, he is too inconsistent in my opinion to be a part of a title winning side. I can see him at a club like PSG for about 80m.

New Budget: ~158m
Swap Deal: Jack Clarke
and Luke Amos
for Eberechi Eze
Eze has been a standout player in the championship this season and Spurs will not be keen to miss out on another English AM after Grealish and Maddison didn’t sign. QPR will be happy to get 2 players for one.

Part Swap Deal: 20m + Lucas Moura
and Juan Foyth
for Kalidou Koulibaly
Koulibaly is just the signing spurs need. Big name, solid CB to improve the back line. Lucas is aging and Juan Foyth can’t get game time. Both are unnecessary to the squad at this moment.

In: Max Aarons
Right Back has been a position of need since Kyle Walker left in the summer of 2017 and Max Aarons could well be the player to fix that. He has been heavily linked to spurs recently and a deal seems imminent. 25m, but it could be less if Norwich are relegated.

In: Ben Chilwell
Chilwell has been very good this season for Leicester and has been heavily linked to Chelsea. It is reported that José really wants him at spurs and he could be a massive player for the club. Probably would cost about 40m

In: Eduardo Camavinga
The 17-year old has attracted a lot of attention this season after his performances in the DM position. Spurs are crying out for a DM atm to unlock Ndombele as well. Spurs are known to like young players and they don’t come much younger than Camavinga

Camavinga would likely cost about 45m, a stunning fee for a teenager, but could potentially be a fantastic long term investment.
In: Ryan Fraser
A great squad player who racked up assists in the PL last year. Would be great business to make a profit off of Lamela and get in Fraser on a free. A solid back up winger who can provide good service to Kane. Comes for free as well!

In: Arkadiusz Milik
The polish striker would be a perfect backup to Kane as he is still 26 and has a similar playing style to the England Captain. Would probably be a 35m transfer but could be worth it since Kane could easily get injured.

This unbelievable transfer window would leave spurs with a squad that absolutely could win a significant trophy such as the Premier League title or the Champions League. The squad with the depth chart is below.
Other utility players Spurs would have are Gedson Fernandes, Oliver Skipp, Troy Parrott and any other Academy players that come up through the ranks. Thanks for reading. Feel free to do your ideal window as well and let me know what you think. First thread.
