My two cents on the recent controversy [thread].

Over the past few weeks I've observed what started out as the proverbial tempest in a teacup evolve into something resembling the 'optics war' of '17/'18. My MO until now has been to stay out of 'internal' disputes, but this time
I see people whom I've come to know and respect on both sides of the divide and I think they deserve to know where I stand. If any of them wish to discuss these issues privately, my dms are always open.
First, I believe it is in our interest to express support for the Palestinians, for two main reasons: 1. Whites are naturally drawn to what they perceive to be morally just causes (which, incidentally, is also the reason why we should reclaim environmentalism ...
... and animal rights activism from the 'left'); 2. anything that weakens the enemy (I don't have to tell you who that is) is good for us.
Secondly, expressing solidarity towards Palestinian, Syrian or Iranian muslims by no means implies sympathy for all muslims, much less muslim immigrants in Western countries.
On a related note, studying Islam and objectively assessing its strengths and weaknesses is not 'promoting Islam' - the same applies to any other religion/ideology, including Judaism and Marxism.
If someone claiming to be on our side were unironically advocating for any of the aforementioned, I would obviously oppose them, but no one to my knowledge is actually doing that - anonymous twitter accounts created in May 2020 do not count.
Ultimately, it is inevitable - and to some extent even desirable - that we should have different opinions on matters of religion, political ideology and economics, but ideally we should be able to argue and disagree without accusing each other of being subversives.
I understand that anonymity and online interactions are not exactly conducive to good-faith, productive discussions, but public feuds are to be avoided as much as possible: they are a show of weakness and only benefit the enemy.
That's not to say that we all need to get along and work together, but at the very least we should agree to stop the witch hunts and personal attacks. Let's stop being our own worst enemy.
