Since everyone is doing a thread about themselves, I thought would join on on the fun. (1/x)

My chief identity is being a Christian. All my other identities flow to and through this point. Specifically, I am a Presbyterian in the PC(USA). (2/x)

My main interests are patristic theology, Reformation theology, biblical studies, and Gnosticism. I’m a huge fan of Augustine, Irenaeus, Chrysostom, Calvin, Luther, and Barth. (3/x)

Vocationally, I’ve felt called to the pastorate since I was six and I’ve never shaken it off. (4/x).

I’m a working class Appalachian, and those two pieces are important to understanding my hermeneutics and my politics. (5/x)

My non-religious interests include cooking, stargazing, fishing, camping, and playing RPGs. (6/x)

I’m the owner of two beautiful cats named Felix and Orlando. (7/x)

I just graduated from college with a Bachelors of Arts in Religious Studies and Philosophy! (8/x)

I’m a Young Adult Volunteer with the PC(USA). I’ll be going to the Asheville, NC site in August. (9/x)
