Egypt as Brazil, both not only very large but also very diverse. Very similarly as well, their music is iconic. Problematic governments but fun people over all. come to Brazil!
Saudi Arabia as Argentina, both hated from everyone in their region, they are racist and have given refuge to people who have committed war crimes. Both despicable governments with backward ways of thinking and should not be representatives of their region
Morocco as Mexico, both big tourist destinations, beautiful countries, fun people overall. Tangier is the Tulum of Morocco
Tunisia as Costa Rica, both relatively small countries, it isn’t the first that comes to mind when discussing the region. Beautiful nature and people, extremely underrated countries in their region
Sudan as Haiti, they are both the most disrespected in their region due to their blackness despite having the most revolutionary histories of their region. They are often stripped of their Arabness or Latinidad because of rampant anti-blackness. Both countries deserve much more
Libya as Venezuela, both once flourishing nations, their downfall was caused by dictatorship and foreign intervention. Amazing people who were victims of imperialism
Yemen as Cuba, AMAZING people, they’re OGs of their region and their political history is also very similar. they’re also both victims of their imperialistic neighbours who aint shit
Algeria as Colombia, they’re everywhere, always representing their country (as they should), amazing people who’s governments haven’t always been the best
Chile as Lebanon, not only both coastal countries with beautiful beaches and nature, both recently have also been at the top of revolutions in recent years
Jordan as Peru, huge civilizations, beautiful history, the people are very nice and often misunderstood. Often thought of as the parking lots of a neighbouring country
Qatar as Uruguay, RICH.
Bahrain as Panama, rich countries but sometimes problematic, I will not go further in detail
