We now live in a country where you are banned from visiting friends, having a kickabout with your mates, or going on a date for the foreseeable future, with no end date or limit placed on how long this is tolerable & the stated position of govt advisors that it may be for years.

I'd never have believed a UK govt cld be reduced to such open-ended arch-authoritarianism with no goal or purpose. It's like a collective madness has gripped the country.
