Ok. For those wondering what is up with the new Contrapoints video but don't wanna watch because of "the drama", stick around this thread. I'm about to dive in, and will provide some thoughts.

For reference: in the past I've been a fan of Contra's work. I've seen every ...[1]

...video she's made, from the pre-transition era to the Buck Angel fallout. In the last year, I've grow more critical of her, and these days am generally not a fan, though I still think she's made good and important content before, and it'd be nice to see her doing so... [2]

So, I'm coming from the perspective of someone steeped in Contra lore, who also as of late is critical of her and quite disenfranchised after the various "scandals" last fall (which weren't entirely her fault, but weren't entirely not-her-fault).

...impressions going in, looking at the vid display and context: is this gonna be a video about cringe culture or is it a continuing analysis of her own drama? Nornally I'd say the former, but since she said she wanted to do a follow-up on the drama response vid, and... [4]

...looking at the length of this one (almost half an hour), it might be the latter. I'm hopeful, but not optimistic.
