I& #39;m late to the Breonna Taylor story, but it looks worse by the day. Louisville cops conducted a forced entry drug raid. Registered gun owner Kenneth Walker woke up, fired at them. They opened fire, killing his girlfriend Taylor, an EMT. One cop wounded. https://atlantablackstar.com/2020/04/01/lawyer-louisville-cops-did-not-identify-themselves-during-botched-raid-that-killed-emt-led-to-her-boyfriends-attempted-murder-charge-for-shooting-officer/">https://atlantablackstar.com/2020/04/0...
A lawyer for Walker says the cops didn& #39;t announce, themselves and found no drugs. It sure as hell seems like they hit the wrong house. The suspect named on the warrant was already in custody after a prior raid. Yet Walker has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
A judge released Walker to house arrest, causing the police union and law enforcement groups to go nuts.
Gun rights groups should be all over this, no? A registered gun owner defended his home from armed invaders. In return, the police killed his girlfriend, then arrested him.

Can& #39;t imagine a more profound violation of the right to keep and bear arms. Walker defended himself from armed men who broke into his home and killed his girlfriend. For that he was arrested.
Yet the NRA has said what they always say after these raids:
Not a damn thing.
