honestly what is it with today's people that don't know how to apologise?

and i dont mean not apologising when they dont mean it, like because i think apologies should be sincere.

i mean those who are truly remorseful but when they apologise, they say sorry in a form of self loath.

NO. the thing is, i dont hate you for what you did to me. i just want an apology. just acknowledge your mistake and apologise and try your best to not do it again.

i dont understand the whole self pity thing. "im so sorry im such a mess. im so sorry you have a friend like me, ill leave you alone. i wont talk to you anymore. im sorry for being the worst"
