Every episode of Mike Mongo's Astronaut Adventures is filled with real life instruction for students who want to grow up to live, work, and play in space.

The premise is simple: quarantine is a space mission training for the entire world.
It's a small shift, reimagining quarantine and pandemic precautions from "have-to's" into "get-to's".

Looking at quarantine as space mission training opens up so many possibilities–I love this episode of Astronaut Adventures about space food!
Reimagining quarantine as space mission training is fantastic! Astronaut Adventures guests, trained as astronauts, explaining to students how training for space is like quarantine is a BIG win.
Case in point, world-famous analog astronaut @DrSianProctor.
Having guests on Astronaut Adventures who share their love of space and space exploration empowers young students to believe in their own dreams of living, working, and playing in space.
For instance the excitement of space expressed by @LorettaWhtsides.
Encouraging young students to train for space means putting tools for success in young students hands. When I was a kid I WISH a grownup had shared the tools necessary to write a letter to NASA.

Which is why I created Astronaut Adventures.
Students need permission to do awesome things. It is our job as grownups to let students know they have permission to pursue their dreams.

For instance, giving students permission to mail a letter to @NASA Administrator @JimBridenstine. And showing how!
Explaining to students the importance of @SpaceX & NASA's Crewed Dragon launch on May 27, THIS IS LITERALLY OUR JOBS AS GROWNUPS.

Mike Mongo's Astronaut Adventures is me connecting today's students with the thrill of today's space exploration.
Today, space is accessible to all students.

We have @sedsusa! @clubforfuture! @TheMarsGen! @ISDC!

Former SEDS-USA Chairperson @WarderAndrew shared his experience on Astronaut Adventures how SEDS & ISDC make space accessible for students around the world.
Episode 10 is one of my favorite Astronaut Adventures. @WarderAndrew and I talk about @sedsusa @ISDC @vtseds @ulalaunch–even @joshjenkins037!

All of which leads to an important discussion on handling the impact of making mistakes. Esp. for young students!
So there you have it, my introduction to Mike Mongo's Astronaut Adventures. It took all day to get here and you can chalk that up to the time I now spend editing, posting, answering, questions, snacking, and even getting in a little exercise. (HOW DOES @Erdayastronaut DO IT?)
