May 10th, the day that changed my life forever. I’m feeling very emotional that it’s my baby girls 1st birthday, which also happens to land on Mother’s Day. Talk about the ultimate gift. When they set her in my arms, I was not only overjoyed, I was terrified, unsure of myself.

Nothing magical happened like what happens in the movies. I was just me still, but now I had someone who completely depended on me and needed me to do a job that I had no idea how to do. Together we learned, and we are still learning more everyday how this mommy thing goes.

I never knew how much someone could make life worth living until her. She has the most contagious & beautiful smile I’ve ever seen. Everly is the perfect mix of sugar, spice and everything nice. My sunshine on a cloudy day, when it’s cold outside I have the month of May. My girl
