Cow is a mother not just because she gives us milk, but because she has the highest biomemory of all animals, and she has the capacity to nurture all beings. She loves & protects all beings who are her "family." It is her basic nature to care for all...
The west has got it wrong. In Vedic goshalas,we do not take milk from cows bcz we want to exploit her. But rather, only what is spare, after all calves are fed, are used by humans since time immemorial. Because the cow by her very nature gives MORE milk than reqd for the calves.
Several studies have already proven that the more cows are loved & nurtured, the more milk they give. This is also what we learn in Bhagavatam - Krishna played flute for all cows & they give surplus milk. In Vedas, cows are worshiped for their divine qualities....
Cow milk is added to the "havi" in yajna to make it more pure, divine, acceptable to the devas, and equivalent of Somrasa. On Mother's day, let's not forget to love & care for all cows around us who nurture us so unconditionally.
A civilization which cannot care for its cows - where cows die of hunger, torture and negligence, is on the road to decline. It has lost its values of being in tune with nature & life. #MothersDay
If you want to help in the divine cause of loving, caring & protecting cows, you can make a donation to @GauSevaAgniveer who will use your contribution to ensure cows are well fed & cared for.
The best way to deal with depression, low mood, overall lack of energy is to just spend a few hours with cows every day. I can guarantee that you will come out of depression in max 11 days. This is nature's therapy for low mood & Tamas.
