i like how it showed us how crushed hinata was after getting yeeted from the match and kept mostly everyone else's narrative threads open, only for furudate-sensei to show us that, hey. none of these characters won the spring high. and they're all fine. they're doing great

follow a thing for 7 years for furudate-sensei to turn around fly the protagonist to brazil literally and emotionally create distance from the spring high, and therefore create distance for the readers, only to bring that shit back one more time

and hey. bokuto grew from the experience too. as the old chinese proverb goes failure is the parental figure of success. bokuto finally leveled up enough in the super mario game of life to be the one holding his team up to the very end. and so he continues doing that, even today

idk i just really like this chapter it's like we're getting to see everyone's support systems. there may be a divide between the monster generation and those who went on to pharmaceutical work but they all started on the same soil, stood on the same court, wanted the same thing
