The book, Glorious Weakness by @AliaJoyH should be a go to starting point if you are seeking to learn about the lived realities of fat people. I keep re-reading it. It js beautiful and true.

Knowing @_karenjgonzalez means I l know more about immigration and justice. She advocates with authority and passion. Her book The God Who Sees should be on your shelf.

There's art by @brwneyedamzn hanging on my wall. Along with being an artist, she builds communities that support each other and lift up voices that get silenced.

My friend @AmandaMBeck changes the world with Sharpies on instagram, produces our Fat and Faithful podcast, and will break down your problematic thin praise line by line.

One of my first internet friends, @FayelleEwuakye is a transcriptionist - helping making justice focused media accessible. She also makes salads for breakfast a lot which is fascinating.
