This can be clearly seen in case of Sarla Mudgal vs Union of India (AIR:1995)how the allowance of abuse by one religion became curse for the other,in that verdict supreme court clearly insisted for the implementation of UCC.

In the above mentioned honourable supreme court insisited for UCC, because bigamy is offense for a hindu person only, but not for muslim, so suchc a dffrnce gave way for ppls to convert and continue malprctices, so there is a need to reform laws.

In one of the most famous statement of 1985 Shaahbaano case where UCC became flash point then too supreme court held that UCC must implemented. That time the votebank & appeasement policies of ruling party turned down the verdict....

Even under the article 26 every religion is provided with right to manage its own affairs then why always hindus have been deprived of their rights..

If we go through more deeply we can find numerous of cases be it of Brahmchari Sidheshwar vs State of W.B.or of Azeez Basha vs Union of India & many more jurisdiction and constitution always recommended for the equal conduct of legislation throughout...

...the country, not on the basis of religion. But the practice of apoeasement and due greed of their votebank a class of politics has always deprived hindus oglf their rights and provided minorities with spcl trtmnt....
