The idea of the 'Evil Stepmom's is still prevalent (thanks, Disney) but on this #MothersDay I'm here to dispell the myth.

@annacroweVO has been a part of my life for over 30 years. She's been there for all my triumphs and a few of my failures.

She never tried to replace my mom, but has always been a fantastic mentor, friend, and most importantly a parent when I needed one to remind me to shape up.

She has taken care of my family far beyond her required duties, and has done it with grace and acerbic wit.

I owe her a great deal, and I thank God she has taken such an active role as 'Nana' to Wesley and my nieces.
