The central conflict between capitalism & communism has always inherently been about humanity living under competition of selfishness vs cooperation of empathy.
One system is founded upon the notion that humans are selfish & the other upon the belief that humanity is empathetic.

There is no such thing as a “mixed economy,” where these two different systems can be blended together. They’re innately diametric.
Any time you hear the US or anywhere else that call itself “a mixed economy,” remember that what they deem “mixed” is simply a capitalist hierarchy that was historically confronted by communal cooperative uprisings that demanded & succeeded in implementing some social welfare.
