Here is a PhD lesson for you. Just write, whatever is in your head just spew it out then worry about structure/coherency later & proof read it before you send a draft off to your supervisors so you don& #39;t leave nuggets like this in the chapter.

"sex buyers are buying into the upward class mobility of the sex worker, a marker that she is not at the “low-end” of the market and all the stigmatising delusional self serving elitist bullshit that comes with that viewpoint.

Just get it all out of your head - fix it later.
Get your ideas and thoughts out of your head on to paper then situate it in a theoretical context later. Works a fucking treat but for the love of a good thesis, proof read. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😬" title="Grimacing face" aria-label="Emoji: Grimacing face">
Also check that your computer does not have a kink for changing porn to pork.
I view research as a form of activism so it& #39;s useful to write with passion and rage like you are writing an angry feminist manifesto for change not a 100,000 word thesis. Don& #39;t worry about repeating yourself or structure or language, you need to get it out of your head.
I& #39;ll end the thread by saying that my director of studies once said that you need to sell your ideas in your thesis, really sell the originality & impact of your research like you are writing with all the over confidence of a mediocre white man who does not belong in the academy.
and get used to saying "this chapters significant contribution to new knowledge is ..." at every opportunity you get.
