Killer Croc is a soft character and deserves better treatment from DC

(This is a thread btw, I’m not done) He constantly reiterated and says that he believes the rehabilitation of Roy is the only good thing he’s done, and carries the burden of thinking he’s irreparable and beyond redemption.

But time and time again in various comics he’s shown being, at his core, a tender hearted person who wants to help people who’ve experienced hurt like he has.

He’s made mistakes in his past, usually being provoked to the point of violence. After years of being the victim of bullying, domestic abuse and being cheated out by others, he snaps.

Most of Waylon’s most violent deeds, such as acts of cannibalism and murder, are usually sourced from manipulation by other deranged villains in Gotham that Waylon got caught up with, a common theme for the character.

Also, this isn’t proven or explicitly stated, but I’m 95% sure that Waller drugged and manipulated Croc as well. When he’s with the Squad, the majority of the time he speaks in the 3rd person and is extremely dumbed down, but while alone, he’s shown to have more dept

anyways he’s just tired and wants to find the peace and solace he’s never really gotten a chance to experience. So here’s a few pics of Croc being sad and sulking because he’s really fucking good at it.

Bonus: Ship Waylon with King Shark because Nanaue is more than comfortable with who he is and needs to teach that lesson of self love to Waylon and I feel like that’s a really compelling conclusion to Waylon’s looping cycle of pain and self destruction

Before you mention Orca as well, Grace made herself Orca willingly and is a crazy psycho bitch, and can’t grasp and truly relate to someone being born into a situation like Waylon’s. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO ME

Also, to go back to the topic of Roy, it’s been 2 years since Heroes in Crisis and Killer Croc hasn’t reacted or mentioned to it once, and I feel like DC really did him dirty by taking that moment away from him.

ALSO he was shafted in both Injustice 1 & 2 and disregarded as a transition character. THE DISRESPECT.
