Bill Barr ousted Jessie Liu as the US Attorney for DC and replaced her with his right hand man, Timothy Shea, on January 31, 2020.

Jessie Liu herself was a Trump sycophant who was not pursuing cases against Trump, but apparently she wasn’t willing to go as far as Barr wanted, so she had to go.

To this day, Shea is still serving in an interim role and has not faced Senate confirmation.

Shea is Barr’s bitch. He was a deputy under Barr back when Barr was serving as George Bush Sr.’s Iran-Contra fixer, so he knows a thing or two about cover ups.

Speaking of cover-ups, Shea was in charge of Barr’s “investigation” into the mysterious death of Jeffrey Epstein.

Shea has been awfully busy in his first 100 days in command of the US Attorney’s office in DC. His first order of business was to undermine the work of the line prosecutors on the Roger Stone case by recommending a light sentence, causing the line prosecutors to quit in protest.

Shea went even further in the Flynn case, filing a motion to drop the case against Flynn entirely and prompting yet another resignation by the line prosecutor in charge of the case.

Despite being the still-unconfirmed US Attorney for DC, Shea isn’t even admitted to the DC Bar, meaning he shouldn’t have been the one to sign the motion to dismiss the Flynn case. That’s no problem for a guy like Shea: just fudge it and use someone else’s bar number!

This is what happens when you install corrupt sycophants into high office. They tend to be incompetent rubes who make sloppy mistakes.

I sincerely hope Judge Sullivan calls Timothy Shea onto the mat and spanks his sorry ass in open court.
