10th May, 2010. A bored Threpney stumbles on an old thread in a forum he never normally visits. He speds the next 14 hours reading, enthralled.

Every year since, on or as near the 10th May as work permitted, I have re-read that thread.

It is, of course, the saga of Nist Akath.

She's the daughter of the Captain. Given her heritage, it might be better to say that he needs to lock the doors to protect the skelks from her.

She will be the destroyer of worlds.

She will sleep with a cute little pink doggy.
