in love with the concept of tiny fairy yoongi who lives in the forest and doesnt like humans eating his wild strawberries but falls head over heels with a certain human named hoseok who always comes to pick berries and view the flowers & is somehow able to see yoongi

yoongi is grumpy when another human shows up bc he was so sure that he picked a desolate area to reside in this time his plan is to use his fairy magic to scare the bastard away but then hoseok looks down, eyes wide, goes “oh... hello! ” and yoongi’s like ????? U CAN SEE ME?

imagine hoseok’s curiosity and fascination as he kneels down in the soft grass to get a closer look ar the little creature while yoongi is frozen in shock and probably thinks he’s about to be eaten alive afgadjsj he’s still trying to hide in the strawberry bush as if invisible

but hoseok eventually senses the discomfort and he keeps his hands to himself, apologizes for scaring yoongi and promises “i’m not going to hurt you i just wanna get a look at you... oh, wow... you’re beautiful!” while the little fairy turns strawberry red in his tiny face

when the shock finally wears down and yoongi finds his voice again he squeaks out a weak “go away” and hoseok says “but we only just met! can i at least know your name? do you have one? ” and yoongi, going against everything he learned from his family abt not trusting humans +

scoffs and says “of course i have a name... it’s yoongi” and for some reason hoseok gasps and looks even More fascinated and enchanted with him which ;; great job yoongi,,, you really screwed up here. but then the human goes “it’s an honor to meet you, yoongi. i’m hoseok”

and to yoongi’s surprise this hoseok human actually leaves him alone? instead of trying something sketchy? but the next day hoseok comes back and yoongi watches him leave behind a little carton of store bought strawberries on the ground, as if apologizing for taking yoongi’s

but of course hoseok keeps coming back to the forest... he doesn’t do anything or say anything, just lays in the flower fields and watches the clouds go by while yoongi watches Him from afar, confused and skeptical and waiting for something bad to happen but it never does

so finally yoongi gets fed up (hint: he’s curious) and outs himself again, appearing from his strawberry bushes to ask why hoseok keeps coming there and what he’s trying to do. hoseok just looks at him with that same fascination and wonder, says he’s happy to see yoongi again

hoseok reaches into his pocket and yoongi stiffens, wary, but he just pulls out what looks like white paper and inside it is a single blueberry that he offers to yoongi with “i didn’t see any wild blueberries growing around here but i thought you might like this”

and even tho every instinct in yoongi’s tiny body tells him not to take the gift and that this is probably a trick to lure him in, bc humans can’t be trusted, he takes it anyway... doesn’t bother mentioning to hoseok that the blueberries are deeper in the forest, that’s why

somehow yoongi ends up staying there out in the open amongst the flowers while hoseok talks to him and asks questions, but doesn’t pressure yoongi to talk back while yoongi silently enjoys his juicy blueberry, which isnt as good as the wild ones but it’s still... nice

yoongi learns that hoseok isn’t from the area and lives in some place called “city” but he’s visiting for the summer because... he doesn’t say why. his mother grew up here, though. yoongi asks what a mother is. hoseok looks at him weirdly. yoongi’s face turns red again

in yoongi’s defense fairies are obviously not going to be the same as humans... and fairies live in large clusters to protect each other. your cluster is your family. but right now it’s just yoongi and he’s fine with that, he likes the solitude and he likes his wild strawberries

it surprises yoongi when hoseok makes a weird sound, a sound that’s very clearly laughter but like... soft, genuine and smth else that yoongi doesn’t understand and hoseok tells yoongi that he’s also kind of alone right now. he also loves strawberries. yoongi lets him pick some

just!! hoseok coming to the forest every single day to spend time with yoongi hoseok teaches him about arbitrary human things that seem so simple but make yoongi go ???¿?¿? and yoongi teaching hoseok about all the different types of plants and flowers that live in the forest

omg imagine hoseok starts bringing yoongi different sweets... the fruits are sweet but yoongi has NEVER tasted anything THIS sweet in all his fairy life (except for honey, which he absolutely loves) and he totally gets a sugar high from it, just flies happily around hoseok’s head

if you’re already sad today please do NOT think about little fairy yoon laying on hoseok’s chest, being lulled to sleep by the slow, gentle rise & fall as hoseok breathes and quietly tells him more stories about life in “city” or random human things. please do not imagine this
