This is a great thread! We are often quick to jump on the "video games are bad; virtual is bad; teens today are anti-social" bandwagon. And there are plenty of problems caused by video games, social media, etc. https://twitter.com/snickerpants/status/1256755201207201792

But I am similarly seeing all sorts of ways that it is enabling communication and, as in this thread, sometimes that communication is pretty damned meaningful! Kudos to those teens who stepped up to make the world a little better for someone, in whatever way worked for them all.
