Late to this, but it’s way too much of a stretch to call the Alison Roman thing “racism.” That term—“racism”—cannot meaningfully encompass the specific brutality of what happened to Ahmaud Arbery *and* usefully describe Roman’s comment about Marie Kondo. It just can’t.
