A Wealthy Man was having a conversation with a Jinn.

All the Jinn wanted to do was just grant him his three wishes and go back to his own world.

But Wealthy Man wasn't only rich, he was also known to be very wise.

In his wisdom, Wealthy Man decided to chat Jinn up.

And so in his wisdom, Wealthy Man asked about Jinn's previous masters and their wishes.

Jinn replied, "All humans are same, they are usually driven by what they think they do not have"

Wealthy Man pondered for a second and said, "why do you say that?"

The Jinn looks impressed.

"You are wealthy, master. And you are wise. But there'll always be more with more wealth and wisdom than you, master"

The Wealthy Man looked at the Jinn and asked, "Do you think I am like every other human?"

"I don't think master, I just serve by granting you your three wishes"

Said The Jinn.

"I will make my first wish now", Wealthy Man said.

"Very well", Jinn said, prepared to hear what the Wealthy Man has got to say.

Smiling, the Wealthy Man said, "I want to become the wealthiest man of all time"

In a second, the Genie blinked and said "granted!"

Suddenly, Wealthy Man began to experience a change in mood. His skin glowed with the essence of perfection. Confidence increased within him. Shoulders broader and higher and chin raised up in graceful pride mixed with arrogance.

He is indeed now the wealthiest man of all time.

Wealthy Man smiled and said
"So it is true, what they say about the magical powers you possess?"

"Master, you are now the wealthiest of all time. None was ever as rich as you are now and none will ever be", the Jinn said.

"Aha! But there's one thing", said Wealthy Man.

"What?"

Asked the Jinn.

"I'll never have enough time to enjoy being the wealthiest of all time. So my second wish is To Live Forever!"
Mr. Wealthy Man said.

Jinn blurted out "Granted!"

Smiling with a glee in his eyes, Wealthy Man goes "And for my third wish—"

Jinn interrupts him.

"before you make your third wish master, I have to tell you about the immortality wish"

Now more youthful and confident, Wealthy Man queried "What about the immortality wish? You are just supposed to grant my wishes you genie-servant- oh wow I actually feel really really good"

Admiring his hands, wealthiest of all time aka the immortal man grinned. He felt elated as his skin was now rid of aging features, making him look younger. This is real. Magical, but real.

"That's the immortality wish granted Master, you are now forever young", Jinn said.

"Before you make your third wish master, the immortality wish will make you live forever, but the the world will come to an end. Everything will be gone, wiped off. I am not sure of other immortals but now that you are one, you might be the only one left when it all ends."

Wealthy man stopped his self evaluation and glares at Jinn.
Jinn stares back.

"What do you mean by the world is going to end?", asked Wealthy Man.

"Coming to an end actually master, don't worry, you'll live long enough to see it happen."

Wealthy Man ponders for a minute.

"When the world comes to its end what happens?", asked Wealthy Man.

Jinn answers, "you'll be able to find out since you'll be there to witness it and even live after that. I bet it's a wonderful experience."

"What is wonderful about that? What about life? People? Earth?"

Again, Wealthy Man asked.

"All those things will be gone. The world will come to an end", said Jinn.

"No! The world can never end", Wealthy Man retorted.

"Sure it comes to an end master, like everything else. It is the same reason why you have only 3 wishes too.

Now that I have told you about the immortality wish, you can now go ahead, make your final wish Master."

Wealthy Man looks confused.

"The immortality wish comes with perpetual protection, so that no harm will come your way Master" The Jinn said, mischievously smiling.

Wealthy Man replied, "Perpetual protection? If the world ends, then that defeats the whole purpose. That's a perpetual never-ending hell. And I will be the only one in it. Forever!?! Doing what?"

Jinn said, "I believe that was what you asked for master"

"Why would I ever ask for a perpetual never-ending hell?", Wealthy Man asked.

"Master I know you to be a wise one. If this immortality wish translates to perpetual never-ending hell for you, then apply wisdom in your final wish" , the Jinn answered.

"Infinite Wisdom was going to be my next wish, I should have asked that first", said the Wealthy Man.

"Be careful how you use the word—wish—around me master. I just grant them automatically. It is not in my power to consider it...

It's not too late however, you can ask for more wisdom if you want to" said the Jinn.

"Where is the wisdom in that, servant?"

"In the wish, master"

"But if I ask for infinite wisdom the world still ends?", He asked.

Jinn nodded, "you still have your infinite wisdom master"

"What else are you not telling me?, asked Wealthy Man.

"What do you want me to tell you?"

"Help me out with my final wish"

"Very well then master, since you are concerned the immortality wish will send you to perpetual never-ending hell, you want to reverse it.

"Reversing an immortality wish strips you of any other wish you must have made prior to it. Hence you will not only lose the immortality, you will also lose your wealthiest of all time status." Said the Jinn.

Wealthiest Man is shocked to hear this.

"Now, it is also important to know that, once you've lived as an immortal, and for some reason it is reversed, you don't go back to your previous age. You go back to twice the age you were before the immortality wish was granted. It is magic arithmetical science." Said the Jinn.

The perturbed Immortal Man asked, "Why didn't you tell me all of these before I made any wishes at all?"

"Usually I don't know from what angle you choose to make your wishes from. Conversations with humans are tricky, if you are not careful you'll waste your wishes."

"Now you can choose infinite wisdom or you can reverse the immortality wish. I believe I have helped you enough.", Jinn ended.

The youthfully confident looking wealthiest of all time and now immortal man knows he is in a dilemma now. After much thought, the silence is broken.

"Might I add, the longer you stay in immortality mode, the older you get once reversed. So if you want to reverse it, I suggest you do it now.", said the Jinn.

Wealthy Man has to make his final wish.

"What will it be?", Jinn asked.

"Don't I have other options?", said the wealthiest man.

The Jinn gestured.

"What do you mean no?"

The Jinn answered "Those are the only two options for your final wish."

"Okay if that's how you want to play, now I wish for multiple wishes!" The wealthiest man exclaimed.

Jinn roars in thunderous laughter. "Ah! You know you cannot make a multiple wishes wish, you seem wise enough to know this else you would have made it as your first wish, master. Try again."

The once broadened shoulders of the immortal man gradually dropped.

Wealthiest Man asked, "Is this how your masters have been treated in the past?"

Jinn said, "I told you before that all humans are the same, driven by what they think they do not have"
