Omg the child is SO EXCITED about Mother’s Day

Apparently she was in here at 6am asking @derekbjenkins if it was time to bring me breakfast in bed. My first gift is that he managed to send her away without involving me

OK THIS IS LEGIT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING 
They dyed it with cabbage! It was amazing 
She came up to get me and I asked her to look at photos with me. When we came down, I had to wait in the foyer for a minute with my eyes closed. She and @derekbjenkins leaped out from behind the furniture and yelled “Surprise!” He’d been crouched behind the couch for a while 
Gift 1: she made me a bunny friend in my favorite colors. “It comes with two accessories!” (A bed and extra carrots)
Gift 2: she pulled a book off her shelf that she thought I would like, not even knowing that it is by one of my very favorite authors.
Gift 3: she made me a book and it is amazing
She said it’s designed so I can add my own words, but the caption on the 4th image here should be, “And then the acorn began to love his new life.”
Gift 4: a bottle of treasures, including a clue to where my last gift is
Gift 5 was in her room, and it’s a multilayered cake with a gift in each layer
Layers 1, 2, and 3
Layer 4 was pistachio ice cream
The fifth and final layer was a loot bag!! Including “several types of currency” and a unicorn eraser in my favorite colors
