speaking like this on SUICIDE RISK ASSESSMENT as if you’re an authority to a group of children is silly and dangerous. the people in the comments thanking this person for what they said have me screaming like none of that means anything shfjskdkrosjg

as someone who has and will hopefully continue to study suicide risk assessment none of the things mentioned in that thread really mean anything. that person just compiled a list of their opinions and observations on “fake suicide attempts”

also just saying fake suicide attempts arent a “wholly separate thing” from real suicides and to discuss this in such a black and white manner as if you have any authority is again, incredible irresponsible

the people who “fake suicides” in attempt to manipulate others are actually (believe it or not!!!) also usually severely mentally ill and sometimes at genuine risk for suicide
