My React Native Journey:
A while ago, I fell madly in love with #React. And recently delved into #ReactNative. My React Native journey hasn& #39;t been as smooth though. Due to the frequent updates of the react-native framework, existing tutorials quickly become outdated.
In this thread, I have curated some of the most relevant materials I have found, which have brought the much-needed balance to my learning journey. They are listed below:
1. The React Native Documentation: irrespective of what other material you chose. This always comes in handy for quick reference. And it& #39;s always up to date. https://reactnative.dev/ ">https://reactnative.dev/">...
2. Traversy Media: Like with everything else, @traversymedia has a crash course on #reactnative. And it was RECENTLY updated. Apart from Traversy being one of the best teachers ever. The fact that this course was recently updated makes it a must-see. https://youtu.be/Hf4MJH0jDb4 ">https://youtu.be/Hf4MJH0jD...
3. Academind: For something more in-depth, @academind_real has a 6hours #ReactNative crash course on youtube and a 30hours project-based course on Udemy where you learn by building real projects. I have seen both materials and they are https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ„ș" title="Pleading face" aria-label="Emoji: Pleading face">fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSRrxpdMpVc&t=16527s">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
4. Net Ninja: @thenetninjauk has a way of making the most complex subjects look simple. He& #39;s one of my favorites and fortunately, he has an easy to follow #ReactNative cost on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ur6I5m2nTvk&list=PL4cUxeGkcC9ixPU-QkScoRBVxtPPzVjrQ">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
5. Unsure Programmer: Strange Name? I was surprised too when I first stumbled across the channel. If you are looking to improve your styling and animation in #ReactNative this is your man. You learn by cloning existing apps like Airbnb & Instagram. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=unsure+programmer">https://www.youtube.com/results...
6. Mukesh Phulwani: In my opinion, he is a great teacher. You get to build an employee app, a youtube clone, and a weather app. Use state management tools like Redux and Context. it& #39;s a full-stack application so you do a little node js & mongodb. https://www.udemy.com/course/react-native-and-redux-course-using-hooks/">https://www.udemy.com/course/re...
For those who prefer reading, I have added a list of my favorite #ReactNative blogs. Basically blogs I find most helpful and make frequent reference to when I am working.
7. About React: This site doesn& #39;t just have amazing #ReactNative content, it has content for all levels from beginner to advanced. I usually always have this site open on a different tab for quick reference. https://aboutreact.com/ ">https://aboutreact.com/">...
8. JavaPoint: Their materials are concise and it& #39;s another of my goto resource for #ReactNative

9. Lastly, are some of the twitter accounts I follow: Sometimes twitter helps with current happenings in the dev community, so following the right person helps.
@kadikraman, @wcandillon, @ReactNativeComm, @dan_abramov
Parting words!!!! With #ReactNative and with programming in general, the best thing is to learn the concepts. Updates could happen and things could change. But the basic concepts usually remain or don& #39;t change as much. Making it easy for you to quickly adjust.
Please Feel free to add some of the resources you have found useful, during your own #ReactNative learning journey.https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="đŸ€“" title="Nerd face" aria-label="Emoji: Nerd face">Thanks!!!! #reactjs #React #ReactNative #NodeJS #pwa #javascript #frontend #developer #Flutter
