There are so many interesting messages/understandings in the latest guideline on #coronavirus #covid19 just tweeted by PM @BorisJohnson.

The first striking one is the verb used: CONTROL.

1. On April 3rd PM @BorisJohnson posted a video here on Twitter ( https://twitter.com/BorisJohnson/status/1246073029030862852?s=20) where he says "We will BEAT #Coronavirus"

Now the verb used has significantly changed.

It's not "beat" anymore, but CONTROL.

This sounds like a massive change in strategy.

2. Work from home "IF YOU CAN" is another significant change. So far the message was to work from home as much as possible. Now, only IF possible.

This is gonna have a challenging impact on public transportation, especially in London. What do you think @SadiqKhan @MayorofLondon?

3. Another major switch is the "LIMIT CONTACT WITH OTHER PEOPLE".

So far, according to the guidelines, it was not allowed to meet anyone outside your household.

Now it will be possible, in a - vague - "limited" way.

4. Another tricky message is "Keep your distance if you go out (two meters apart WHERE POSSIBLE)"

A 2mt-apart distance was considered crucial. Now this has been relaxed as well

Maybe because it will be impossible to stick with in the tube or outside with many more people around

5. Finally. No sign, at least here, of any advice on wearing MASKS or any other protective equipment in public spaces.
