"Have you been struggling to find a job? Are you searching for your soulmate? You can make it, you can succeed, just come to Jesus!"

Statements like these seem very innocent, but they& #39;re actually extremely manipulative and dangerous ways of preaching Christ....
How long do we think it& #39;ll be before people realise they can make money without being Christians? Or they can be in beautiful and loving relationships without Jesus?

...
The idea that God owes u earthly gifts,in return for believing in him,is a LIE that has been passed on through many generations& if we don& #39;t put a stop to it,our grandchildren will continue the cycle.Greed is encouraged& it& #39;s almost as if eternal life is jst a perk on the side..
You can& #39;t be a Christian and be broke. It& #39;s just not possible,
Something& #39;s wrong somewhere."

Such mentality is one of the reasons we have so many Christians who are depressed, thinking their & #39;faith isn& #39;t working,

Whatever that means.

...
Too many of us have been brainwashed to think Christianity is a means to an end.

"Ask, and it will be given to you..." We love that verse don& #39;t we? It& #39;s about salvation actually.. but that& #39;s a topic for another day.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 NKJV
"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the GOSPEL which I preached to you...for I delivered to you first of all..that Christ DIED for our SINS according to the scriptures &that He was buried, and that HE ROSE AGAIN On the third day."

That& #39;s the gospel.
It& #39;s about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and how his sacrifice offers us eternal forgiveness.

Christianity is not about living a comfortable & problem-free life, and it& #39;s really sad that this is the perspective some people have been given...
It& #39;s about the pleasure and peace that comes with knowing Christ lives in us forever, and no matter what happens here on Earth, there& #39;s a much better place that offers never-ending joy.
