rai vs online shopping: a thread

i will start with a story. my online shopping addiction started with me buying styrobeads for my thesis prototype. and apparently they like giving you vouchers for free shipping if you reach [x] amount so i kept buying and i ended up with sweatpants and a sweater too

mind you this is two weeks before my thesis defense. everything arrives, yes, things go well and i love my sweats and my sweater but the styrobeads really out here coming the day AFTER my thesis defense but i didn't really care bc heck i have comfy clothes and i LOVE THEM

since then i've bought the same product of sweater but in different colours (now i have them in red, yellow, navy blue, black, white), 2 different pants, a belt, a belt bag, a gym bag, and iso 400 film bc we need that spare film ready for whatever reason, right?

all's good and well and now i'm buying a ps4 controller for my cousin and TWO yoga mats (bc we gotta try to have a semblance of Healthy Living™ despite my love for soda and hatred for vegetables- but for real one's mom's and the other's mine)

however!!! the universe loves testing me:

- the guards downstairs didn't allow the delivery guy to leave the controller so i'm panicking to get it delivered (update: they'll deliver it soon but idk when but they'll sort it anyway so that's settled)

the universe loves testing me part 2:

- yoga mat seller is a RIDE. at first i asked to change the colour but asked to change it back but they thought it was 2 different colours? and they wouldn't clarify how many products they're sending out and how much????

so now the app says that they've shipped the product that i asked for the colour change which is ok (but i run the risk of getting 2 yoga mats as is) BUT they didn't ship the OTHER product order now i'm PANICKING

but despite all of that i literally just ordered an air blower so i can take care of Scott, my film camera, and properly clean the guy. will it work out? i don't know! but the probability of Air Blower Order being correct is Higher than Yoga Mat so I'm terrified yall

would you like this thread to be updated when i get my orders

ok u intrigued fellas, update:
- both yoga mats have been sent out by the seller
- for context, i got one blue and one black yoga mat. there's a chance we'll be getting 2 or 3 mats. how many am i getting? i have no idea!
- the air blower is yet to be shipped stay TUNED

I got a notification that other yoga mat & air blower got shipped.

I now wake up everyday terrified I missed yet another barrage of texts & calls that my package is downstairs and the delivery guy didn’t leave it at the lobby

IT IS 21 MAY ONE YOGA MAT CAME IN YALL ONE YOGA MAT CAME IN THIS MEANS WE'RE ONLY GETTING 2 YOGA MATS INSTEAD OF 3 THIS IS A VICTORY

- i got the black yoga mat 2 june but fuck it's so dented but fuck that! it'll happen eventually! i mayhaps like this more than the blue one but i won't tell mom that!

i cashed in 400 bucks but the fucking merchant wouldnt validate my payment so i was floating wo knowing where my 400 bucks went for about 2+ days? i sent so many emails, lined up for a "live chat" but never made it to the teller n i was abt to refund my payment BUT THEY CAME THRU

i'd go on abt my terrible life choices but i ended up ordering the following YESTERDAY:
(1) 1 electric hot pack (i'll order another if it's Good)
(2) 4 pairs of shorts
(3) 1 set of pitta masks

when will i receive? i don't know!

so i received the weights, the jump rope, design book, heatgun, superglue and roll of EVA foam. the last 3 were for a commission i completed a month or so ago?

so i ordered those roughly the same time but a month and a half later it didn't show up? so i opted for a refund bc i mean if i ain't getting it then what's the POINT right that's money wasted?? so i got refunded and things are good and SURPRISE they shipped it out anyway??

so in a nutshell? i got free resistance bands LMAO

now i ended up needing to buy double pointed knitting needles bc of a beanie i was working on and WOW that was a worth it buy 1000/10 they come in all sizes but i've yet to find a better case for them mMMM

then my impulsive merch buying ass out here buying an aoba johsai PE shirt, a MSBY black jackals jersey (sakusa yes), and a seijoh jersey ffs

but fun fact the black jackals and seijoh jersey were a x2 bc im a DUMB BITCH but yes they're all 10000/10 A+ buys

and ok wait HAHFUAHFUA i bought this mini desk fan which should look like the left BUT I GOT THE RIGHT INSTEAD????? IDK BUT I GUESS I GOT A MORE EXPENSIVE ITEM WO PAYING FOR THE EXTRA?????????

i had to buy 2 corrugated boxes for knits i'm shipping out to australia & US,,,, and a can of spraypaint + a can attachment for stock lmao

the corrugated boxes are a 4/5 the delivery dented it n stuff but eh that's not surprising (NOW I HAVE AN ISSUE W FEDEX)

i had to buy my mom a fucking webcam bc she hates the nosecam that comes w her dell laptop and those round light shit so she has "proper lighting!" when she has her calls............

and now it's fucking 9/9 so you can bet my dumb ass bought shorts, a usb port hub, a sketchpad, kraft greeting cards, and my mcfuckin HONEY & NUT CORN FLAKES

Yk how I’m pretty fucking lazy smtimes & forgetful as heck? yeah so I forgot to buy packaging tape while I was out so u can bet ur ass I did the best thing I could do given what I had: I bought packaging tape (1000/10 came in two days after and was wrapped nicely in bubblewrap)

now here’s the kicker so I got a new laptop too right and like funny story is that mom had our phone screens replaced too (for like. a fuckton of money) and her phone fell less than a week after n it cracked and she’s UPSET abt it so I bought screen protectors too

we talking cravings? buy 2 boxes of microwaveable popcorn now! (yeah I did I’m a fucking loser)

fashion choices? Finally own that khaki and light grey variants of ur sweater! fucking own that shit bc it’s RAINY AND COLD and you’ll be wearing sweaters literally every fucking day and it’ll be worth it!

had to buy a few more stuff: PS4 dust cover, index cards, dog shampoo and more corrugated boxes bc I’m shipping more scarves abroad (thanks mom for commissioning 17!)

NOW OK SO I TOLD MYSELF + MY COUSIN “dude this is the last package I’m buying in a WHILE” but mom decided to go APESHIT over redecorating the house (did yall parents decide to renovate n redecorate shit at ur houses too or nah) so we’re changing most of the furniture???
