Honestly, I’m tired of lockdown, but I’m more tired of having a government so incompetent that they can’t even get their messaging right. It gives me no confidence whatsoever that there is any route out of lockdown in the near future. It truly sucks to be a Brit right now

Brexit was bad enough, but the lies & obfuscation that got them through that are just not going to work on a virus. It’s just unending shit as far as the eye can see.

And I feel like the British public has given the govt A LOT of leeway. I really wanted them to get this right & I was prepared to be generous. I believed they were doing their best in a tough situation. But this is just unforgivable, inexplicable levels of incompetence.

If you’re not competent to come up with your own strategy at least be competent enough to copy the strategy of someone who *is* competent. THERE ARE SEVERAL EXAMPLES.
