Humour me please twitter. In "normal" circumstances:

1. What's the distance from your home to your primary place of work?

2. What's your "usual" mode of transport for that commute.

I'm seeing a lot of people shocked by the idea of others having chosen a short commute.

1. Where you live.
2. Where you work.
3. The length/nature of your commute.

Pick two.

It's *broadly* that simple.

So whilst this is purely annecdotal, we can at least see that there is clearly no "on size fits all" to commuting (newsflash ) and I shall now quote tweet this thread for anyone assuming otherwise.
