Humour me please twitter. In "normal" circumstances:

1. What& #39;s the distance from your home to your primary place of work?

2. What& #39;s your "usual" mode of transport for that commute.

I& #39;m seeing a lot of people shocked by the idea of others having chosen a short commute.

1. Where you live.
2. Where you work.
3. The length/nature of your commute.

Pick two.

It& #39;s *broadly* that simple.

So whilst this is purely annecdotal, we can at least see that there is clearly no "on size fits all" to commuting (newsflash https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="🙄" title="Face with rolling eyes" aria-label="Emoji: Face with rolling eyes">) and I shall now quote tweet this thread for anyone assuming otherwise.
