When the right talk about “going back to normal”, they mean low-paid workers going back to service jobs where they can’t social distance and middle class people continuing to work from home but with an expanded range of leisure activities.

Why are we talking about lockdown like it has a time release mechanism, and not dependent on proper state infrastructure?

We need safe commutes to safe workplaces, mass testing where you *actually* get the results, better sick pay and income support for carers, or a vaccine.
