type of anime kny characters watch: a thread

tanjirou:
- wholesome slice of life stuff
- watches some magical girl shows with nezuko
-prefers anime movies > series since he doesn’t have much time to watch
- enjoys the experience of watching it with others more than the actual anime
- cries during sad anime movies

zenitsu:
- waifu collector
- shougeki no soma
- “it’s called hentai and its art”
- only other anime he watches is asobi asobae because he feels a connection to hanako

inosuke:
- hardcore shounen fan
- skips everything except the fighting scenes
- imitates the powers and fights
- secretly enjoys magical girl fights as well but will never admit it

genya:
- watches a lot of sad josei anime
- cries on the inside
- gets very attached to characters
- very invested in plot
- punches tv screen if a bad person appears

kanao
- super wholesome anime
- watches whatever tanjirou has watched
- smiles whenever the characters smile

nezuko
- lots of magical girl anime
- just loves magical girls
- but also watches badass shounen fights with inosuke when tanjirou isnt looking
- makes “mmph” noises at the tv screen

giyuu
- “anime? who’s that?”
- ends up watches a lot of depressing sad anime
- forced to watch any anime shinobu wants to watch
- gets sexy anime body pillows sent to him during pillar meetings (courtesy of shinobu)

shinobu:
- hates watching wholesome anime but pretends to like it for the butterfly girls
- watches a LOT of horror anime
- why? To get references for irl situations
- smiling throughout the entirety of the scenes
- enjoys a banger opening

rengoku:
- watches pokemon
- always sings along to the opening
- “I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST, LIKE NO ONE EVER WAS”
- considers anime and cartoons to be the same thing
- likes dub and sub

sanemi:
- closet anime fan
- he’s what you may call an elitist
- “SUB OVER DUB ARE YOU A FUCKING IDIOT”
- “FOR THE LAST TIME AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER IS NOT AN ANIME YOU PLEB”
- watches only mecha anime
- considers everything else “not true anime”
- needs to take a break tbh

mitsuri:
- shoujo romance anime ALL THE WAY
- her ships extend to the next universe
- cries all the time when watching
- gets so attached to the characters
- prays for ouran season 2 everyday

I’d continue this thread but im very tired, so lets pretend the rest just dont watch anime
